LAB DAY 2. TISSUES UNDER THE MICROSCOPE

During our second day of biology lab, we looked at different  types of cells through  the microscope and wrote how much it magnified on the image. Here i post some pictures we took to the cells in order to identify each and draw them,as it was our task during the class

PRÁCTICA 1. NORMAS

Durante nuestro primer día de laboratorio de física y química, estuvimos trabajando por grupos  viendo las normas, tanto de comportamiento como del uso de todos los instrumentos del laboratorio,, lo que para ello decidimos hacer un vídeo explicando todo lo visto y demostrando lo aprendido. 

BIOLOGY LAB DAY 1.GUMMY BEAR OSMOSIS

During this day, we saw how the process of osmosis works and learned about its charactersitcs and functions, by trying it on gummy bears, and after watching this experiment we wrote our own hypothesis and discovering its effects. 

The results were a few different ones:

The transparent gummy bear: it became larger and bigger due to its absortion of water molecules, related to the process of osmosis, as is the diffusion of water molecules across a cell. 

The red gummy bear: it became smaller and less softer, as it was with salt water, which made it lose its inical particles and less yummy :) 

The yellow gummy bear: it stayed the same way, and did not have any effect on it.
